This was recommended by a local and it really delivered on quality! The carbonara was amazing, as well as delicious veal, artichokes, and rabbit. Excellent selection of affordable wines and the place is jammed with locals. Make a reservation!

This place was excellent the first time we went, particularly the spaghetti. We went again and were surprising disappointed. While still good, it was a shadow of how good it had been the first time.

We came here after viewing reviews on yelp and were not disappointed. Restaurant has a charming, cozy setup and the service is polite and warm.

We started with prosciutto, very fresh and you could tell that they cut it right in the kitchen.

We shared a bowl of the rigatoni alla carbonara: THIS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE MEAL. Do not leave this place without trying it, truly the best. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce mixed with parmesan was fantastic.

I had the veal and my husband has the ox tail; both were juicy, tasty, just the right amount of spices.

We shared tiramisu which was true italian style and not overly sweet like some tourist traps try to serve.

Highly recommend coming here, it is worth the stay.

I really enjoy my meal. All tasty, well cooked and homemade. I loved my zucchini with meat and artichokes 'a la romana'. They serve really high quality Italian food following the Roman best food tradition. Please serving the bottle of water keep it closed and open it in front of the customers.
