We were staying at the Courtyard Marriott which is just around the corner. I was recommended this restaurant by a co-worker who had visited Rome months before me. Anyways, we felt so welcome from the moment we walked in, all the guys came by to our table to say hello, the server/ cook took our order, all the food came out so fast and was delicious! We ate here 3 nights out of the 4 we stayed in Rome, on Sunday 11/29 (our last night in Rome ) they were super busy, one server and one cook , we don’t know how they managed to get all the food in 15 min, but they did!! And every time our bill was no more than 35 Euros ( about 3 main courses, wine , coffee, French fries, and dessert! ) they definitely made a HUGE difference in our trip and we can’t thank them enough for the great service!

Great food, great prices. Only people here were locals from what I could tell, but they were welcoming to us just the same. Had some amazing carbonara, and grilled sausages that made me extremely happy to eat there that night.

The food was delicious. The prices were reasonable. And the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. It is a great local Italian neighborhood restaurant with very reasonable prices and the staff are very accommodating to English speakers. Would definitely come again.

Not so hidden, as it is right on the street, but a gem nonetheless. The food was tasty, well portioned, and surprisingly inexpensive (my party of three was averaging $70-80 a meal across Italy but here we paid $60 for equal or slightly more food).

I would highly recommend trying either the baked pork cutlets in wine sauce or the fried lamb strips.
