À voir absolument car au bout de ce Square il y a un puit artésien. Pensez à prendre un récipient pour rapporter de l'eau qui est réputée d'excellente qualité.

This small square which opened in 1862 is a tribute to the French poet and politician Alphonse de Lamartine. Located at the very north of the Avenue Victor Hugo, it is now a popular place for toddlers to play in or for teens to catch up with friends and soak in the sunshine.
People also come to fill up on water from the fountain, one of the most famous wells in Paris and renovated in 1994. The water is chlorine-free.
A small monument is dedicated to the memory of the 15 neighborhood children deported during the Second World War.
