This is an old hotel which has a nice view of the sea. There are no elevators here, but the hotel rooms have a nice vintage feel

We had booked and prepaid for two nights at Hotel Peron. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed 24 hours due to stormy weather so we missed the first night of our stay at the hotel. We arrived after 'sleeping' at the O'Hare Airport on cots and being rerouted on our flights from the USA to France 4 times. Once we arrived at Hotel Peron, we were met with insults and anger by the manager/owner because we had not contacted her. We attempted to explain the situation but she continued to become even angrier. What we finally understood was that she had rented our prepaid, ocean view room to someone else! Once we understood what she had done and that she was trying to take her greedy double renting of our room out on us, we became upset too. We demanded that she provide us with any available room since we had already paid for it and it was already 9pm and we were exhausted. We were shown to a shabby but relatively clean room after climbing 3 flights of stairs where we were finally able to sleep after being awake for nearly 48 hours. The next morning in front of other guests at breakfast, we were treated very cordially and refunded 5 Euros for the difference in price for an ocean view room. It was a disappointing experience for us that we were treated so rudely and disrespectfully and the fact that we had prepaid made no difference and our room was rented to someone else. We would not recommend staying at Hotel Peron.

Cozy hotel with a breathtaking view of the Meditarrean right in front of your eyes. Very clean, quiet, and with a very warm welcoming staff. It is a chic, out of the ordinary little piece of heaven. Free Wifi that works throughout the hotel excellently and free breakfast. I will be back!
