An exquisite culinary experience that you must not miss if you're in Lille.
Small an cozy, Le Broc has a nice variety of recipes, mostly centered on cheese. They also have regional dishes, very tasty and interesting.
The goat cheese and walnuts fondue was extraordinary! The portions are huge, not only for the fondue but even for salads.

A definite must visit for any trip to Lille! Le Broc is a cheese restaurant (!!!!!!!!) and one of my favourites. The first time my friend booked us a table here I was worried as I'm not a big cheese fan but everything is such a high quality that even I returned 3 more times in the next 5 months! For someone who's being taken along by a cheese loving friend I highly recommend the burgers. They are perfectly balanced on terms of burger to cheese ration and the potato accompaniments are to die for!
I definitely prefer this location near la république des beaux arts but the sister restaurant at the bottom of rue de gand does equally good food if this place is full.
