Repeat visit. The convenience of being next to the Cathedral is awesome. Maneuvering a car to unload is tricky but the hotel sent a map prior to my arrival with instructions of how to drive up to the door to unload. The Cathedral underground parking is a very short walk away to stash the car. A parking pass is provided too. The room at the top is my favorite, angel room. Though you must climb the winding staircase to the 3rd floor. I love looking up at the whitewashed beams. English was not spoken well but the staff is very friendly. They lock up at night and give you the skeleton key to the upper door on the Cathedral side. The restaurant was closed (Sept) but we had planned on eating elsewhere already. Definitely spend the night in Chartes to see the light show and this is a great place to stay.

I reccomend it very nice place and management. All room different interiors and spacious. And in front of the great Cathedral. Look forward to stay again.

Stayed here on the journey home. Located right next door to Chartres Cathedral so very close to everything. We had a room at the very top of the hotel and there were a lot of steps on a tight spiral staircase. Tom was cosy and quaint with seperate seating area and good size bathroom. Bed was comfortable.

Had orange juice, coffee and croissant. 9.20 Euros in fairly grim environment. Not recommended

I visited Chartes on Sunday, September 6 to see the cathedral. I used Google to find a 'good' restaurant in the vicinity and settled on this one.
The service was beyond poor. It took over an hour to even get a carafe of wine. The meal came about a half hour after this. I never did get my bottle of water. Several others that sat waiting on service gave up and left. Others that came were waited on immediately. It appeared to me that ‘tourists’ were ignored. The food was OK, but nothing special.
I will never return to this restaurant and recommend that you find something else.
