Haskell photography is amazingly professional from start to finish with all of their shoots. Being in the wedding industry can be very challenging as you are part of someone's most precious day, but David and his associates exceed expectations and create magic in every photo taken. Having Haskell photopgraphy be a part of your wedding day is just as essential as having the perfect dress .

We recently had David and his assistant as our wedding photographers for our September wedding in Niagara on the Lake. This team was referred by our venue and we are so glad we went with them. We initially took engagement photos the fall prior with our dog and they turned out so great. On the day off, David and Guen easily accomodated coming an hour earlier when I decided I wanted an extra hour of photos and were so fun and easy to work with and also professional. During the wedding it is key to have easy going vendors who make you feel relaxed and beautiful and they did exactly that. They listened to everything we wanted prior to the wedding and delivered it. They also work quick on day off and we got in all our poses and pictures and actually were able to enjoy the last bit of cocktail hour! We just received our raw images and already we are so obsessed with the pictures they turned out awesome. I highly recommend using this company they are fun, professional and very fairly priced.

My fiance and I booked our wedding photography with Haskell, although I think now we must have rushed in to it, reading other reviews that people have left.
When he was not on time, he never reached out to us, we had to call his studio to find out when we could expect him. When he showed up to our engagement session, he also brought his daughter because it was take your kid to work day. He never asked us if this was okay with us, and used her as his assistant, having her hold up the reflector. Him and his daughter running out shoot - our photos felt rushed and literally took a total of 20 minutes, then he had us drive across town (for another background) to a place he wanted to shoot, however this place was not accessible. We found it highly unprofessional he did not do his homework. He then let his daughter come up with a place and decide how our last shots would be taken. These also only took about 10 minutes.
We remained optimistic, sent an email thanking him. We figured he knew what he was doing. Hoping we would be happy with them. He told us we would receive our photos the next day. This was not the case.
We understand photos take time, however we just felt as though we should not be told we were getting them the next day when we did not.
I will say we did not wait too long for the photos, however when we received them I was devastated, my own family told us they were not even use able.
Also buyer be-where we had bought some sort of promotional package, what we did not have clarified was the fact that we would only receive one digital copy of one engagement photo, every other digital copy would need to be purchased. Haskell then deletes all of the other ones, so you have no access to them. Didn't matter to us, as there was only 1 photo that turned out okay.
To anyone looking at Haskell Photography I would seriously think twice. I have read the reviews and know he comments on any negative review trying to rectify the situation, so he doesn't look unprofessional. Do your homework, make sure you know what you are getting.
When I emailed him to let him know we found a new photographer (it took us time, because we had to revamp our budget) how could be possibly use him for the wedding, when a month before the big day he hadn't once reached out to us? He accused me of making no sense, and was upset I brought his daughter into it. He brought his daughter into it when he showed up with her as an assistant on a day that was suppose to be so important to us.
The lack of professionalism is something that cannot be taught and clearly there are many others who feel the same

David and his assistant were absolutely fantastic. For $1180 + tax they took our engagement photos and were with us for over 8 hours on our wedding day (from the ready rooms through to the cake cutting and beyond). While they were certainly a great deal, they were also truly amazing. The photographs are some of the best I have ever seen (all bias aside): David is a professional in every sense. He knows his business and will get amazing shots. The added bonus is how well he handles people. In the stress and commotion of the wedding he is calm and professional and makes sure that you have fun when taking the photos! It was not just a chore to get through, but a fun part of our day. I cannot recommend Haskell Photography highly enough. Book them early because they are worth it.
