If I could give negative-stars I would.
I had some concerning abdominal pain and the woman doctor there, Ukrainian?, diagnosed me with acute appendicitis. Without any tests except for a push-test on my abdomen, she then insisted I needed surgery and could have me on the operating table in 4 hours, offering me various pain medications and telling me they wouldn't work, and that was supposed to convince me the pain was due to my appendix.

Knowing beforehand that Cambodian hospitals are not the cleanest, nor of very high quality, I reached out to an ER Nurse friend from back home in the United States who urged me to get to Bangkok if at all possible. The Sihanoukville doctor told me I had maybe 5 hours to do anything before... rupture? before...death?, but that it's my life and to make my choices.

So I took a very big risk and fled immediately for Bangkok. Made it to Bumrungrad International where they gave me an initial exam, CT Scan, blood work lab, and results were that my appendix was in PERFECT CONDITION. My intestines, however, had a swollen, inflamed infection on that side that needed immediate attention as it is quite severe.

If I had allowed her to scare me into surgery, I am scared and furious to think how the real infection would've probably turned sepsis and killed me after an unnecessary surgery taking out a perfectly healthy organ because she is inept and clearly unqualified to make such life-threatening decisions.

I am sure the clinic is wonderful for small problems, but we all know sometimes small problems lead to big ones, especially when you have the head doctor casually and almost smugly (she kept calling me baby-girl when I started crying even though I am a fully capable adult of 32 years.) telling me she is absolutely certain of her diagnosis and needs no more tests. To cut into my body.

If I were you and I had a real problem, I'd AVOID any hospital or clinic in Cambodia and get back to Thailand.

Don't be the guy who loses his leg to a minor cut going gangrene in Laos hospital, or the girl who died from sepsis in Cambodia to a faulty acute appendicitis misdiagnosis.

Quick and good Service. The doctor spoke english perfectly and I got the right medication for my eye infection and coughing. My blood and temperature was also examined to figure out if its a viral or bacterial infection. All in total I paid 120 Euro.

Dr. Dmitri has taken time, has quickly diagnosed and prescribed appropriate medicine. After 20 min and 126 dollars we were outside again. Both in the recording as well as with the doctor could be well in English
