This is literally the only place I will go for a hair cut and my nails.

I LOVE these people.

I go to Aniko for bikini waxes and Billy is always very efficient and soothing.

Please, please do not go here. Throughout the past several months, I have given this place too many chances, and I should have known better. It should have been a sign that the stylists kept leaving, so I had a different person doing my hair every time I went. They've called and asked to reschedule my appointments that I've made months in advance the week before, and the manager on the phone is the farthest thing from friendly and accommodating. Although I was always happy with my hair, in my mind, a 2+ hour salon experience is about much more than just the end result, especially when you are spending $150+. Aniko, I'll be taking my business somewhere else, and I hope others do too.

I have known Billy for over 20 years and I can't express enough about her professionalism and passion for the work she does. Billy introduced me to Brazilian waxes and I've been going to her since then. She makes sure to explain the process every step of the way if it's your first experience. I recommend Billy to all that is unsure of waxing and want your first experience to be the best. Thanks for always taking care of me.

I will give one star because the salon looked nicer than others. I called to make an appointment today and got one for two hours from the time I made the call. I wanted to do something to impress my sisters and mother because I was walking for my doctorate the next day. The woman who was to do my nails walked in with the owner. She asks are you Ericka I say yes and she tells the woman to start with me. I ask her if she is new there and she says that it is here first day here, but that she had been a technician for 20 years. I sit down and she begins to give me the most ridiculous manicure that I have ever had, including my 4 year old cousin, not an exaggeration. I keep asking her things like, should I wash my hands first, and are you going to do my cuticles, the fact that her nails were not in the best shape should have been a clue. She takes one fat nail file and does the whole job. rummaging through drawers and looking for stuff. A professional sits down next to her with another client and starts doing a beautiful job with the other customers nails. I ask "did she pay more? Is this the deluxe package? She the asks the other woman what is included in the fusion manicure and the other professional says this is the fusion manicure, she was soaking her clients hands doing a stunning job. I look at my nails and the nail is jagged, there is a hair in the polish and cotton fibers from the nail polish remover which she applied gobs and gobs of. Finally I say "I am very unhappy" She says well I will just push back your nails with this nail file that she found in the drawer! Not the sanitized elaborate set up that the other more professional technician had. I say there is a hair in my polish, she says well I have not finished wiping it with the nail polish remover, even though she was applying top coat at the time!!! I finally said take it off. She then started to complain that the owner did not give her enough information, and that the owner was busy telling her what not to give me instead of what to give me. The owner or the manager or whoever came in with her, was not around at the time because she went to the other side of the salon to have her hair dyed. When she comes back I show her my nails and say I will pay you whatever you think this is worth. She is sitting there with a towel around her neck, and dye in her hair and says, lets call it a wash. The last time I had my nails done before this was two years ago on the Northside because I was starting a new job, this was another occasion that I thought I would mark with something special. Not so much.
