A Fantastic place to eat with great food choices. The Service is good and you don't wait long for your food. The staff are very friendly.

Good selection of real ale. Friendly staff. Food served quickly and hot on arrival. Big spacious pub with nice atmosphere. Every time I visit York, I come here. Good prices too. I imagine must be amongst cheapest in York.

Pleasant surroundings. Riverfront position but weather against sitting out. Staff punctual taking orders and serving them. A pleasant experience.

A classic pub menu at very good prices. You have to order at the bar, but the food turns up very quickly.
When it's busy the only tables you'll find will have dirty plates on, and they need you sharpen up their act in this aspect.
Otherwise great for a quick bite or a full meal.
Open early for breakfast too
