Good simple food. Fish and chips highly recommended. Great beer especially the excellent Harvey's. Warm and comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff.

We held a post cremation gathering at The Spread Eagle, the buffet was extremely good and the unobtrusive service was fantastic. I had estimated 40 people but around 80 came along and it still worked just as well. Plenty of food and relaxed atmosphere. 10/10 thank you.

Nice pub as you come into Tun Wells. Good choice draught lagers plus three real ales & a draught cider. Good quality fairly extensive food menu at reasonable prices BUT waited 30 mins for food to arrive, the only downside! Maybe a warning if likely to be over 20 mins, but despite that a pub worth visiting.

Lovely place with friendly staff. I really wish they'd not painted the beautiful building grey inside and out though. I can't tell if it's military grey or battleship grey. Hopefully next time I pop back from Australia it will back to being white, with dark beams again.
