Main course very tasty. Only problem was the vegetarian portion size. Why do most eateries assume that veggies don't eat much.

Good value and always good quality food. Ales selection is good without being excellent but staff are always friendly, great place to take the kids as quite a spacious and accepting pub.

Having just moved to the area recently, this is the nearest pub to me, and I've found it to be a great place. On the 2 occasions I have been there, the service has been great and the food top notch. Will definitely be using this place as my new local.

Pretty awful.. It's supposed to be a good lunchtime pub, which I can't comment on. The evening meal was not at all nice. Zero service - the few diners in, like us, were scavenging serviettes and cutlery from other tables. Dining room has the ambience of a hospital cafeteria. Dirty, sticky menus. The food was hot at least. Avoid the homemade lemonade, which tasted like it had been made in a cardboard box. Won't be going back.

Very good pub catering for both local and business guests. Standard chain menu but with a couple of very nice twists. Friendly atmosphere, nice and clean. Also has outdoor seating for those rare sunny days.
