I really like this park. It's a used landfill site transformed into a nature reserve. It's mainly open space, there's a lake and a few paths leading to a peak with great views. It's run by a trust with volunteers and regularly hold event's.
It's a young growing reserve which will take time to establish.
Funding seams to be an issue and there's probably a fine line between adding furniture such as bins and benches and disturbing the wildlife.
It's not a park where swings, slides etc would fit in, it's more aimed at a place to experience visually.
There is a small car park (good or bad point depends on how you look at it)
There's also a small activity/visitors center, I believe this is due for expansion soon.
If you fancy a nice walk with good views and wish to see nature, this is a great place.
