The Core is finally starting to be a place that's worth going to - for a long time it had just a bland white interior with hardly any shops. They still seem to have some difficulty maintaining tenants and I think it'd probably help if they lowered the rents, but they are slowly getting there.
I often go there for food and drink (a quick lunch rather than a fancy evening meal) with my two young children and sometimes my husband. There are also some toilets which are convenient but often have problems - toilets out of order, taps not working or no soap in half of the dispensers - but it's better than having to traipse along to the next nearest loo.
They have a nice little 'social' area but the seating available seems to be changing regularly (getting less comfy each time!), and also a projector outside that shines different logos/pictures onto the floor - it's a bit tacky but the children seem to love it when it's a little darker outside (e.g. winter). I couldn't ever get my older daughter to go past it without her demanding to get out of her pushchair to chase the lights around (and I met other parents having similar problems!)...

These fish and Chips are the worst I've ever had. Absolutely inedible and overpriced. There's nothing else to say.

Nothing much here apart from some fast food restaurants and a handful of shops. Considering this is an established shopping centre in the centre of Leeds, and at one time thriving, its now a major dissapointment and needs revamping. One plus: the toilets are clean and free to use.

Probably the worst fish and chips I've had in a long time. This place is NOT connected to the original Graveley's in Harrogate, where the fish and chips are tops. Best avoid this same name rip off.
