Lovely place and the staff are so nice. The food was lovely especially the Rogan Josh which was one of the best I've had. Would definitely go back there.

Great takeout: amazing flavors, great portion sizes and good value. Be aware though that "mild" is still a bit spicy.

An Indian restaurant, that serves such impeccable food but the most rude and unprofessional service.
I walked in craving for some real good food but clearly the steward hated me for walking into an empty restaurant. Perhaps he wanted to wrap up early and head home.
The steward was Indian of course and I assumed I was going to be treated with the extra love for someone of you're own kind. Clearly I was hurt for he treated me so much more differently that the Scottish couple on the other table. Maybe it's the white privilege but really? A South Asian treating his own people badly?
I was seated in an empty restaurant when he came and threw the menu on the table, just the same way as he threw the cutlery totally out of place (I guess he assumed I'd use my hands) the plate was placed on the table as if he was serving an Indian prisoner or if he was paying for my meal.
He was making immense noise in the restaurant to clearly finish his work and get out.
Sad I really read some great reviews of this place on my trip to Scotland.
Note to the manager: get your waiter a pair of roller blades I'm sure he'll enjoy working there better.

Both the food and service was great. Do not be misled by the small appearance of the restaurant from the outside, this place is huge.
I had a North Indian Garlic chicken dish, consisting mainly of garlic 'obviously' spinach and ginger. The flavours were both fresh and immense. I travel frequently here to Edinburgh and have eaten in many Indian restaurants and I can honestly say that this is the best yet.

Had take-out here: Delicious. Great portion sizes, but also high-quality. Large chunks of lamb, and chicken, fragrant sauces with multiple distinct spice flavours. Delicious! (quick and fairly priced as well. The restaurant is much larger than it looks - going well back with a large dining hall. Much nicer food than a nearby popular neighbour who shall remain nameless.
