Nice! classic Edinburgh bar.. It's best feature is it's oval bar .. It's quiet most nights, well unless you're there on quiz night .. or on Friday night when the usually have live music.. Well worth a visit!

Once you’ve got down the steps, I don’t know if there’s disabled access, you enter a lovely, warm, welcoming pub. The decor is a bit olde worlde and adds to the warm atmosphere. They serve such fantastic fish and chips. Very much worth a one hour trip on the bus for lunch. Recommended. Only one slight negative; the Fisherman's Basket, thought a tremendous and good value/size meal, is served in the most impractical way. Ask for an extra plate if you're going to order that one; eating it off a wooden board and basket is quite tricky.

Very rustic local pub in Stockbridge Edinburgh. Full of colourful locals who were very hard to understand but very friendly.
