Wonderful autumn afternoon at the café. It was not very busy so we enjoyed a very relaxed atmosphere and the service was friendly. Nice pies and soup at very reasonable prices. Decent coffee too. Well worth a visit if you are driving past. The cycling, camping and glamping looks very good too.
Note the suggested parking charge, it seems only applicable to cyclists who park their cars there!?

What a fantastic days mountain biking! Great trails, a wonderful cafe with real home cooked food and friendly staff. Great prices too. Parking very reasonable and plenty of facilities. Trails not crammed as at some places but not deserted either. All in all, a great days riding.

Stopped to get lunch at the tea room. Good coffee and great food. Lovely place and has really good locally produced veg for sale. Recommend this place to everyone.

The bike trails were awesome, what we saw of them as we had young kids with no suspension on their bikes (top tip - hire one the half day rate of £16 is not bad at all). The camp site itself is tidy and well catered for with washing and toilet facilities, even a USB charging port in the dish wash area! The views from the high meadow at dawn were sublime and every time the clouds altered the sunlight on the valley below it was worth a new photo like a spotlight on a different part you hadn't noticed before.
We took advantage of the cafe on our last morning as it was wet and we had packed everything away and were not disappointed the coffee, rolls, scones and brownie went down well.
The shop is well stocked with camping gear and miscellaneous odds and ends to make any stay easier or pick up something you forgot.
