Lovely park suitable for dogs, walking, picnics, families. The park is kept clean and free from litter, there is a well maintained hard ground basketball court, a tennis court and a children's play ground. Paths at the upper end and a bench over looking the maintained *football* area, though the goals have now been removed. The down side is there is only one bin and it's not a mess bin, just general, so doggy walkers keep note of this. The council have recently stopped cutting the central part of the grass, which makes running about with children, pushchairs etc difficult. It also restricts the clenliness of the park as dog mess and litter can be missed it hard to spot.

I used to love this park, but after cutting down half the trees and stopping cutting the grass it is nowhere near as nice!

I dont dislike this park but its a little run down now and the car park always has to be locked due to local youths using it as a hang out. Make this park a great place again please.
