Please avoid this hospital...the staff seems dony know and dont care about my problem and they dont speak english! Really bad after 3 hours with stomach pain i left to go to another hospital!!!

I can't say enough about Mission Hospital. More than forty years ago I came down with food poisoning while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The Peace Corps put me into Mission Hospital and I was up and about in a matter of a couple of days. Now as a retiree in Bangkok, I go to Mission Hospital for my general medical and dental needs. I also receive treatment for my epilepsy there. The staff and doctors at Mission Hospital are happy, helpful, and competent. It is a wonderful mix of the spiritual and the scientific proving that both can be done for the benefit of all the sick and the needy.

Staff in office is unpolite and doesn't speak one word of English!
They are shrewd and always think about money first.. and then maybe about your health. They will suggest you to stay at the hospital longer ..just for make your bill rich! And after that, they probably tell you that don’t have any basic room available… so again more expensive bill for you (or for your insurance!)
Food is Not healthy… after a gastroenteritis they gave us fries!
They keep your PASSPORT like hostage until you paid.
The deposit, will be NOT Refundable, but just a part of the final check.

They want to keep you more days and do lot of unnecessary exams for the symptoms, they just try to find a way to get more money from you and your insurance and, most important, they keep in hold your passport until you or your insurance pays the treatments. I don't think this is a legal procedure. Anyway structure, machines and methodologies are old.

One of the best hospitals in Bangkok, and has saved many lives of which other hospitals had given up on. They have international doctors, healthy food, great staff, and a nice park behind the hospital with dormitories for nursing students. Expensive, but you'll be getting the best care. Definitely recommend this place. They are the best for any tropical diseases.
