Solid and authentic Taiwanese rechao. Pricey but lively

Medium-priced establishment. Food is quite good but portion sizes are very small for the price, compared to similarly-priced eateries in Taipei.

This restaurant has been here for a long time. A lot locals go here. Seating are in a roof top (second floor). And because it's open air, so people can smoke there, which makes it hard to enjoy the food if you are not a smoker.

The service was also just acceptable. We didn't order a lot food, but the waiters still managed to bring us the wrong drink and forget one order. Food was also just acceptable. We ordered about 10 different dishes, only enjoy 3 of them.

Over all, I would not recommend this place, especially if you are not use to eating your food with a lot of second hand smoke.

Various kinds of dishes are available and most of them are yummy! Tangcu liji was not good enough. Fried rice was nice.

A popular Taiwanese ReCao (Hot Fry) with foreigners and locals alike, and for good reason. It's a fantastic, central place to get your Taiwanese food fix and GanBei some beers. The service is decent too, particularly the downstairs manager who is always most accommodating. I recommend the fried rice, KungPao chicken, and eggplant; washed down with some "18 Days Taiwan Beer". They do also have an English menu iirc.
