Under subdued light, finesse, great food taste and presentation! We took a special moose carpaccio with a dried and parmigiano covered cabbage leaf and reindeer with potatos and mushrooms.. delicious! A bit expensive but it's worth it!

Went to their Afternoon Tea ceremony on a Sunday and was super impressed with the whole experience! Nice environment, very kind and knowledgeable staff, and the biscuits and scones (as well as the tea) were exquisite! While it didn't look like much at first (but still enough to fill me up), the three-leveled tower of plates proved to be quite the challenge to finish! And it all tasted as delicious as it looked. Could've used some more time though, because it took the staff a good 15 or 20 minutes before the biscuits and scones were ready (tea was served within 2-3 minutes), thus I felt a bit stressed since i really wanted to thoroughly enjoy each piece on the plates before moving on to the next one. Nevertheless, I'll definitely come back to enjoy this experience again!

We found Gotthards Krog through maps early, early when heading north but it turned out to be the (very good) breakfast buffet at Stora Hotellet - same entrance, same folks? See Stora Hotellet för my review of the breakfast!
