We had a truly magnificent meal at El Terrat in Tarragona,. accompanied by excellent wines. Worthy of the highest accolade possible, This was on 11 May 2017. Highly recommended, and the Staff wonderful.

One of the most surprising finds in a long time. Stumbled across the place in a quick stop to grab a bite and ending up having a full sit-down meal because it was too good to pass up. Traditional Catalan dishes and specialties from Tarragona such as Suquet de Tarragona which is a mixed seafood dish with a tomato, almond and hazelnut sauce was rich and decadent. Suckling pig with smoked with wood and herbs was brought to the table under it's own little smoke shield, arroz caldoso con bogavante was delicious and the coca with escalivada and smoked mackerel is something I will crave for a long time. I need to come back here for a degustation menu asap.
