Very big park in Madrid. Its very busy and a lot of people, both locals and tourists, come here, but since it is such a big park it it also a very quiet and relaxing place. Great diversity, there's water, fountains, gardens, sporting and playing areas, different kinds of paths, food stalls and many other things to do! Great place to stroll through and relax.

Incredible park! Rivals even Central Park in NYC (it’s better IMO).

Go here for some incredible relaxation time! An absolute must for a stroll. Also has the glass palace inside which is a stunning thing to see.

One of the most beautiful parks one can visit. Beautiful scenery, and great for relaxing and people watching. The lakes make a serene setting, and musicians scatter among the park playing gorgeous music. Enjoy some delicious gelato relaxing at the lake, or in a boat. The rose garden is incredible, not to mention the smell! We spent more time in this enchanted garden then the rest of the park! Worth any walk or taxi ride!

Fantastic city Park in the middle of Madrid. Wonderful Chrystal Palace opposite a lovely water body with cute Turtles. Many different areas of interest within the park with superb architectural masterpieces along with a museum. Plenty of options for food and drinks. Could easily spend a day in it. Great connectivity with a metro stop within the Park.

Retiro is a huge park in Madrid that I have visited a few times now and still have not seen everything, it's that big! Photos are from my last visit when we explored the old zoo area which was Fascinating and there is still plenty of wildlife to see within the park. The landscaping once out of the zoo is stunning.
It's a well kept park, it's clean and tidy (very little graffiti,) there are drinking fountains dotted around, as well as refreshment vans if you don't mind paying, kids climbing frames round every corner and plenty for everyone to do. Quite a wonderful place that makes you forget you're in the middle of a capital city
