With the owners being so hands in it can only be an amazing experience. Delicious food, friendly staff, awesome vibe. 5 stars well deserved.

Absolutely outstanding!!!, I have eaten there many times. The Menus is Mediterranean my favourite items are the Tapas/Meze, any of the steaks, lamb shank and Rooibos Creme Brulee. The food quality is very high, the waiters are well trained, the wine list is one of the best in SA, atmosphere is clean and sophisticated, great place for lunch or supper, book one of the booths if you want a more intimate romantic time with someone special.

Full marks for this excellent eatery. From the owner's friendly and personal welcome to the food and wine to exceed expectations. Shortly after ordering starters we were given a complimentary side of deep fried eggplant slices with ricotta cheese and a light skordalia-like dip. This was my first truly positive interaction with eggplant. The moussaka was an excellent follow up to the garlic snails. The eggplant was perfectly cooked and the moussaka was firm and delicious. Best Greek food I've ever had.

Atmosphere, food and service is great. Portions are a bit small but the idea is to have a three course meal. We had the starter platter, prawn curry and baklava. The starter platter for two was delicious. The prawn curry was slightly on the salty side but absolutely divine. Was a bit disappointed with the baklava. Tasted great but a bit dry and the portion is very small.
Will highly recommend Prosopa. Will definitely be going back.
