All the food was great. We we're suprised they didn't have any Whale Haven wine as it is next door and stunning. The wine we did order was good but room temperature and according to the various wineries, having wine served at a lower "cellar temperature" does alter the flavour. The service has been so good and the staff so accommodating with the food being pretty damn spectacular that I think to give 4 stars just based on wine temperature is a bit unfair.
Lastly, if you're a cheese lover do yourself a favour and order the smoked camembert ;)

Michelin style restaurant in Hermanus, a must try! Beautiful outside garden if warm enough and a great variety of dishes to suit any picky palate! Service is impeccable, and Warrick, the chef, always puts in a personal appearance. We will be back!

The decor is not pretentious but comfortable. Service is good as it is a professional team in the kitchen. The food is excellent and with respect to the other restaurants in Hermanus I think that this has been consistently the best.
