Don't bother going if you don't speak Russian. Staff make it no secret that foreigners are not welcome here. Didn't expect that from a dive bar

One of the most popular among young people and probably the cheapest bar in Moscow. In spite of the indiscernible entrance from the courtyard and quite big basement it's almost impossible to sit somewhere on Fridays/Saturdays.

A fancy supermarket owned by the Alye Parusa chain but which retains much of its fin-de-siecle decor that it had before the Russian Revolution. The food is overpriced but the choice at the deli is huge and the quality is solid.

good place, decent beer, good whiskey sour (at this point of time, depends probably on the bartender) but right now it's the last time im here. we were closing and opening our tab cuz , so we were still about to leave the tip, when she bursted and started preaching that we have no consciousness and she pushed with words to get tips. cheep shot, russian mentality, hope you won't be there on her shift
