Peaceful and relaxing 7 days set in a quiet area of Madeira. Friendly and helpful team, perfect place to stay if you like small boutique places away from all the crowds. Easy access to main attractions and all nature has to offer. Ensure you hire a car. Take advantage of quiet balmy nights in the garden .

Small hotel big chain. Very quiet ideally situated if you have transport. The public transport is an experience that you just need to try be first in the queue and take the dead man seat!@#$/=

This is a hidden gem of Madeira. If you would like to be spoiled and to enjoy a quiet and relaxing place this is it. We felt great here and the staff is so nice. It's a 100 years old building, once used as a tea house fully refurbished now. I will start with the food as this is amazing and you will have to take at least one dinner here. The tuna and the prawns were delicious. The rooms are large with king size bads with very good matress. It has a small pool with a sauna. Also they have a list of massages that you can enjoy in a cozy room, a gym and 2 lounge rooms one where you can drink the afternoon tea and in the other one you can play chess. Since is in the mountains the weather is mostly cloudy but even so you can go hiking on levadas or It's a really nice park near by called Quinta da junta. It's worth 6* review as is above more 5 star hotels I've been so far.

A truly beautiful building and grounds in a area or high altitude therefore pure air. Easy to get to from the airport and uber quiet once you are. Not much in the locality but an ATM and a cafe etc. Also a very lovely tiled church whose grounds play host to a Sunday market. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed with individual gardens off and right next to the delightful swimming pool. Breakfast was good and so therefore my only star removal is for dinner which was not great and more like school dinners than haute cuisine.
