Just arrived home from a week at this hotel, it is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at, the staff where all exceptional, polite,friendly and always very helpful . Nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was beautiful, always plenty of great choice and hot food hot not tepid like so many places.
Everywhere was so clean and no litter anywhere. Cleaners around all day.i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of going to madeira great hotel great place to visit with very friendly considerate people. Well done keep doing what you are doing.

Spent a good week here. Comfortable, quiet. Facilities were fine except the gym which was badly equipped with some equipment unsafe.

One of the best 4☆ hotel we have stayed at. And the food is excellent. The staff are great want to know anything they are very knowledgeable.

Arrogant and indifferent management that undermine the efforts of hard working staff. They make a hotel that would pass on many levels, seem like a place being run by Scrooge, Grinch and Gru. Want to iron a shirt in your room? Sorry, send the shirt to their laundry where ironing costs €5 per item. Want to use the safe in the room? Pay a €10 fee. When asked "and you call yourself a four star hotel?" The answer is "If you wanted those amenities you should have stayed at our 5* sister property".
The answer is given with a self-assured smirk and a shrug of pure indifference.
Being able to call your patrons guests is predicated upon a welcoming generosity that the management here simply cannot comprehend.
