Lovely place with modern facilties, nice staff and a cute breakfast offering. The location was great and a quick walk from the city center.

This last week was the third time I spent time at Hello I'm Local. I highly recommend this boutique hostel to anyone visiting the Netherlands. Going to stay at Hello I'm Local and commuting the 10 minutes to Amsterdam is a brilliant idea. I personally believe that Haarlem is more enjoyable than Amsterdam. Staying at Hello I'm Local gives you everything you need in an overnight experience. The room have all been decorated and assigned a very Dutch name/feeling. I am Dutch and enjoy the immersion that they provide. The boutique hotel/hostel is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Netherlands. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and fun to be around. The accommodations are clean and typical Dutch. If you want to immerse yourself in Dutch culture stay here. You cannot get a better location than at Hello I'm Local. I absolutely 100% recommend this facility

Friendly staff, very comfy beds (even in the 14 bed dorm) and quite a good location. Would make a good base instead of staying in Amsterdam as it's only a 20min train ride and much cheaper.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean and the whole place is beautiful. It's in a quiet neighborhood and very short distance from local shops.
