I...am...speechless! I’ve just had an absolutely perfect meal. Wow wow wow. We had the daily set menu for €29.50 which consisted of Bopo Vietnamese soup, a Rib Eye steak with seasonal vegetables, and a lemon cake/tart. Every bite transported me into gastronomic heaven. I don’t think I can adequately sell this place enough. Just one word for you if you’re considering this restaurant... go!!!

Fantastic three course daily special. The fish was soft with just the right amount of crisp to give it taste. The soup was filling and moreish. The lemon cake, despite me not usually liking this sort of thing was so well put together I couldn't help but give it another try.
Prompt and polite service, and reasonably priced: £29.50 (Euros) for the lot.

Excellent. Lovely fennel and apple soup. Delicious sea bass and excellent lemon tart. Nice bar to eat at if you're alone. Friendly and very relaxed. Highly recommended

Amazing dinner experience. We are very picky customers, since we live in NYC. But we were fully satisfied with all menu choices and service. 3 course meal is the best!!!!

Delicious. Fish was sublime (and really good French fries with home made mayonnaise). Sweet little space on a lovely street in Amsterdam. I travel alone and typically dine at the bar. Harmsen has six cozy bar seats with a great view of the street life buzzing by. Simon, a bartender and chef, was welcoming, engaging and hospitable. Go!
