My dog bit a toad today and started foaming at the mouth, shaking his head, etc. I called Daktari and they were absolutely clueless. (I speak Japanese reasonably well.) Fortunately, I had already rinsed his mouth and face in the shower. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone with 2 calls with them to no avail. I was, and still am, quite irritated with them.
Another vet was able to simply and effectively help us. Plus they were much cheaper. We will NEVER use Daktari again. They are completely incompetent/clueless. (I wish I could award negative stars.)

If you need an Animal Hospital in Tokyo Daktari is the place for Premium care for your pet. From simple Vaccines to Oncology treatment Surgery emergency procedures and grooming. They also have a Pharmacy on the Premises, 3 locations in Tokyo and Doctors that speak English. It's not cheep but if your dog needs an MRI or you need a diagnosis this is a very good choice. Our dog was very ill and they helped us bring him back from the edge of death. Even when we returned to the US they helped us get our prescriptions and medical records transferred to our American Vet fantastic Service as you would expect in Japan.
