Pour moi, le meilleur restaurant de la gare de Nara. L'anbiance est chaleureuse et le personel est très courtoie. Les prix sont très bas (environ 800¥).
Les udons, qui sont d'ailleur delicieuses, sont incontournable.
Je vous le conseille les yeux fermés.

Try the beef yakiniku udon. The beef was very thinly sliced. Very tender. Evenly-cooked. Had just the right tinge of sweetness to it. Udon itself was smooth. Soup was very tasty too and does not make you excessively thirsty post-meal. Free if you want 50% more noodles (just request as per the menu). English menu available at this restaurant too. Conveniently located on the 1F of the JR Nara station (1 level below the JR train platforms). Portions were decent with the additional 50% noodles. Spent JPY850 for 1 pax.
Try the beef yakiniku udon. The beef was very thinly sliced. Very tender. Evenly-cooked. Had just the right tinge of sweetness to it. Udon itself was smooth. 3.5/5 stars This shop is found by taking either the stairs or elevator down from Nara station and then most easily found by walking through the supermarket downstairs and outside to the left.
The menu here is annotated with English, but there are plastic replicas of the dishes on display outside the shop window, and the staff are more than happy to write down your order if you show them a picture of what you want and how many bowls.
The food portions are quite big and the cost per meal isn't too expensive. The bowl of curry noodles I ordered was yummy, and it came with a paper bib and an extra large bowl to minimise any possibility to curry finding its way onto our clothes! Very considerate, hehe :) If you're sitting in an area that might be difficult to flag down staff to take your order, there is a bell on your table that you can ring. The place does become quite crowded during peak meal times, but the turn around is fast so you shouldn't have to wait too long to be seated.
