Excellent museum, very interactive with the possibility to send a digital postcard at the end. Covers all aspects of Irish emigration around the world. Quite surprising to learn just how many people do have Irish ancestors.

Extremely creative and interesting exhibit. Definitely a cool stop to learn about history and to experience museums in a different way. It's very interactive and gives you lots of room to explore and filter out what interests you. Only drawback may be is that it is very long so kids may get bored, despite it's interactiveness.

This museum was an absolute highlight of Dublin for us! I highly recommend it for anyone with interest in Irish history and culture. If you have any Irish heritage you will be entertained and your heart will be broken, you will walk away in wonder of the resilience, humor and tenacity of your ancestors. After you complete the museum experience, you can finish with the Irish Family History Centre. For 9.50 Euros I got quite a bit of information about my great grandparents and introduction to websites where I can learn more. We stumbled on this as it was not in our tour book and are SO glad we didn't miss it!!

Was a very interesting experience. Discovered a lot about Ireland and it's people. Good use of projectors. Very interactive. Amazingly well done!

Museum about Irish immigration and the influence of Irish in the world. The museum is located in the cellars of the building above and that looks very nice because it's made up of adjecent arched rooms. The exhibit looks very modern and is very interactive and was just completely updated last year. You get a passport you can stamp in each room which is a nice touch. I had visited the immigration museum on Ellis Island in New York before so it was kind of interesting to see the 'other side' of the immigration.
