I rented from him once, he is an alcoholic, he stole 300 rupees and a few other things I left in the car. Be very careful he can rob you blind.
It wasn't a refund of 300 rupees, he said since he didn't have change he will adjust it with my next rental. Which never happened because very conveniently he had an emergency and had to leave town.
We will continue this once I reach India, I saved all his text messages. I have several text messages saved that was sent to him regarding the money, and he replied back that he was out of town and pay me when he gets back. In US you can't buy much for $7 which is equivalent to Rs 300. It wasn't the 300 rupees I was worried about, I was disgusted with the dishonesty. The time I wasted sending and receiving texts was worth a lot more. He drove me around for 5 hours, I bought him lunch and dinner. It's my duty to inform the public of my experience, just be cautious.
