Best place to visit. It's calm but not tat clean because of visitors don't allow it to be. Good time with kids and family. You can carry your shuttle rackets , bat bal etc n enjoy. Else have a great walk or jog.

Well, this is the green patch in the bustling concrete jungle.
This place is huge with big trees providing the necessary aerial cover from sunshine.
However, again as usual is going waste because of administration apathy.
So much potential to generate funds and attract more people on daily basis and not only over some festival or weekends.
The gardens are not pruned, they are hardly suitable for doing a proper picnic setup.
All you see is couples enjoying their time away, and not worrying about the prying eyes in their PDA ( public display of affection ). This can get tricky as well if you have young kids along with you.

Outside food is not allowed, however private vendors inside are allowed to virtually sell everything and clearly a case of them being in a "hand in glove " with the government department.

There is no official parking in front of main gate, however the security guard takes Rs.50 to allow you to park there. And this illegal parking happens right in front of the police post there, another example of what happens in background.

Not all thing is bad, the park itself is good, with loads of scope of walking. Enjoying, running around, photography for nature lovers. I have some notice board and the map for reference, before you plan to go there, to avoid hassle.

Beautiful green area. Nice collection of plants from all over the world. But not properly maintained. Plastic, plates , bottles etc are everywhere on land and lake. Most of the tree lack information about their species and origin. Japanese garden is least maintained. Even though it charge you a 20rs ticket, not very different from cubbon park where you can go for free.
Nevertheless, it a good place to spend a day because of its enormous green area in the city.

It's a nice place for strolling in nature's lap. Some spots are occupied by love birds. The place is mostly clean but it's not well maintained in all places. Popular spots are maintained well but some secluded spot are ignored. They ponds are never cleaned it seems it's auto cleaned by rains. I noticed pelicans over there which was a great surprise. Some of the birds were really cool, they could dive underwater to find food. All in all fun place if you can ignore some of the negatives.

Lalbagh is one and only of its kind in India. Offers vast green grounds, amazing trails for walking, jogging, relaxing.
There's a beautiful lake and a nice lakeside walkway all around!
Then there's the iconic Glass House of Lalbagh which serves as its focal point! I was actually attending the famous flower show that's housed in the glass house!
There's also a beautiful hill on the grounds of Lalbagh. It offers great views from up there.
Lalbagh also uniquely presents 4 major entrances located in all 4 'corners'!
You could plan walks, jogs, picnics, and casual outings at Lalbagh!!
