Beautiful classicist garden with gorgeous buildings all around. One of my favourite spots. But misses more gardening and more evergreens or blooming trees and bushes. And a weeping cypress, and cypresses or tujas lining the path.

Not that great. Not a lot of history being told just a lot of different old objects vit nothing thats explains their background or use

History of budapest is there. A good place to read book and meditating. You need to pay for enterance even for taking photo.

Quite cool place to spend a hot afternoon. This museum describes the beginnings of the region and brings you right through to today. It is split in 2 areas/time frames. Basically the 1st half and the 2nd half. I preferred the 1st half (800-1300's I think). You can easily follow the changes through each room reading a panel by each door. That tells you what you need to know. Then if it interests you, you can read the individual cabinet information. There is a cafe in the basement and there is an audio guide, but we were not offered one.

A huge and clean museum. The set up and presentation is unique and entertaining. We we went on Juni the museum was nearly empty, perfect for a visit!
