Of all the restaurants on the Nea Chora seafront (I tried all of them), Volakas has the best stuffed zucchini flowers and the among the best value for money overall (there is a close competition between three contenders there). Whatever you'd order is at least very tasty, and vegetables and fruit are fabulous. Everything was fresh, to the point that 'mixed smoothie' was different every day, depending on which fruit came in. The default white wine we got was fantastic, but I guess that depends on the day and the bottle. The interior design is rudimentary, but the staff create a great atmosphere, caring genuinely about the clients and their needs and there is a feel of a true family restaurant. I enjoyed every minute spent there, every time. Highly recommended.

Authentic Greek restaurant with local atmosphere. Good and cheap food, ask also for dishes outside menu.
