Awesome "forest" feeling in some parts of the garden. It stretches 7km from top to top- nice for sporty activities. Naked areas in marked spots and surfing possibilities in the river.

for a perfect vacation in the summer days. If you want to cool down there is the Isar river and for those who love sports, you have tables for tennis, volleyball, basketball courts, fenced playground. but there are also those who just like to lazy have a huge forest with meadows and resting benches

Magic. A huge open park, with forest, glade, lakes rivers - so many pockets of lush flora to explore. This is so much better than the trimmed gardens of London or New York. This has a wild factor that makes you want to explore while still having all the open green common space you want in a city park. Rent a bike and ride around. It's amazing.

Beautiful park, one of the treasures of Munich. Comparable in size to Central Park, the English Gardens provide a variety of different spaces. If the weather is nice you can see many areas of the park covered in people enjoying the creek running through the park or just the well manicured lawns and beautiful scenery. There is also a spot where the creek flows so rapidly it creates a spot where surfers can sustain a ride for a very long time. A very fun place to sit and watch.

Huge public garden that runs through Munich. During hot summer days the large beer gardens that you find distributed inside this landmark invite to stay for a cold drink. You can also bring your own food.
