A very nice hotel room with a great breakfast buffet! Great place to stay near the train station and to be close to many things in the city.

A simple decent hotel fulfills all the basic needs. It locates 3-5 minutes on foot from the train station, and about 10 minutes tram ride from the city center.
The staffs are friendly and speak English, quite good according to Germany standard.
The price varies but rather reasonable during the Documenta 14.
It is good for a short stay. Will consider staying at Pentahotel again if visiting Documenta 15 next time.

nice place to stay in, I stayed there during DAAD annual meeting for schoolarship holders, 100m from Hauptbahnhof of Kassel and Straßenban.

Typical pentahotel. The smell, the style, the rooms, beds and shower. I liked the AC, quiet and good. I thought the corridors are a bit dark. One should note that the city centre parking garage is cheaper with 12 a night, while the hotel garage is small and costs 18. The garage is also only protected by a barrier, while city centre closes at night with shutters. Our than that it is your typical pentahotel. Nothing wrong with it. Staff is good, location is excellent. Prices are relatively steep, but no penny is wasted.
