The beer flights were a great deal and I liked being able to try everything. The food was also great, the portions were not huge though.

Normally really good service. And I quite enjoy this place. Don't know if it's a new server... But she's terrible. Her name wasn't even on the bill (which also wasn't correct). Never saw her. Just wasn't there. Waited 10 minutes to order a beer. 10 minutes to get the bill. Like hell I was gonna wait for the debit machine from her. I withdrew cash and left 1% tip, so hopefully she understands the insult. 2 others outside heard us complaining about the service and they also agreed we had the same server. Imagine that. On a positive note, the food was still great. Definitely great place to visit. I just hope any of you reading this don't get the same server we did. Because this one star is just for you unknown server lady.

One of the best patios in Victoria! Service is decent, never thought it was horrible or anything, but nothing special. Not a big fan of their food. I had a New York strip there and it was not good at all. Their beer however is great and have great drink options!
If this place could get a bit better food, it would be a 5 star all day. I’ve been here probably a half dozen times. Cheers

Really great spot. Outdoor patio with fire pits and great views. Was a bit chilly but the wait staff have blankets on standby. The food was high quality and reasonably priced. We moved inside and there was live music. Overall a solid choice for a group outing

On a warm summers day, you can't beat a beer on the patio at the Canoe Club in downtown Victoria.
Great location, nice views of the busy gorge waterway, and friendly wait staff. Also, the beer and food taste good.
Now some unfortunate negatives. The server is often a little slow and the wait staff appear to have quite a large number of tables under their care, so they can sometimes forget a drink or two.
The food and drink is also quite expensive. A burger is $17.50 + tax and tip. The food is good, but that's quite a lot to spend on a burger that doesn't even include bacon (that's an extra cost).
