Quaint little place. Food is good - traditional English, just like my grandmother used to cook. Service is ... well ... entertaining. We'll definitely be back.

I'm pretty sure this is the only place in Vancouver that serves authentic English cuisine. 100% homemade (with love) by a sassy British lady who owns the joint. All food is served by the same sassy British lady with an extra side of sassiness. If the food isn't amazing enough, the sassy charm of the owner sure as Hell is.

The place is definitely unique, and the old couple running the diner are charming... it was an interesting and memorable experience, but we would definitely never go back. The food was really bad. French toast is greasy and super soggy all the way through, pancakes and meat with the breakfast special tasted very sour as though they were cooked with something that had gone off. A side of eggs was $6.. And people at the tables around us kept getting their orders delivered very slowly and with errors and everyone looked very uncomfortable because nobody wants to be rude.. it's basically like eating breakfast at a grandmother's house where you'll be scolded if you don't finish everything on your plate (which is amusing but awkward if the things on your plate taste bad)

Now my favourite breakfast spot and I've been to them all. Lovely English couple Stella and Reg run the place with true London charm! Perfect poached eggs every time, and endless cuppa coffee. My pals had the trad British Breakfast and loved it, baked beans and all. Like taking a trip back to the 60's.

We've been coming here for years so I feel bad for not having left a review earlier!! I'm English but now live in Vancouver (and previously visited every year as my Mom is Canadian). This is like a little taste of home - proper English food and environment. The couple who run it are great and the woman is a hoot. So much humour and energy - she's half the reason we go! This is the spot when I want the proper English fry up I miss!!
