I've played and listened to bands over a few years at this place. I personally like the food and the vibe of this place. Beer selection is good too. The staff are amazing and make you feel at home. LanaLou's is one of the most important live venues in Vancouver. This place gives a chance to many bands to play live for the first time and feel welcomed at the same time. I highly recommend this place

Great live music! However the venue is small. No air conditioning. Always a wait for self service. And the food is awful. I ordered yam fries and they were dark brown...indicating the oil hadn't been changed for a looooong time. Go for the music. Otherwise meh...
