Five of us had dinner there last night. When the main course was server there were only four. She had even made the point that she needed to write down the items when taking the order! The server did not notice that I did not have food. After a short wait I called her over, she had not ordered my dinner. The choice was to wait 10 minutes or have something else. I decided that pasta would be faster as now everyone was almost finished. When the pasta came I felt that it was undercooked, served with lots of clams. It was quite enjoyable but would have improved with another 2 minutes cooking.
We then had dessert. All of us felt that there should have been an adjustment made on the bill. Our friends were from Toronto and they expected this.
There are so mant restaurants in the west side of Vancouver that you have to do something to make us want yo go back!

Good place to grab a drink and a meal in Kitsilano. Make sure Chef Dennis Huang is cooking though for dinner. Burgers are really good here, happy hour grilled cheese a deal as well as Monday's pasta night.

Dined here on a Friday evening. Had wanted to order the chicken livers as an appetizer but was informed that it is no longer offered as a menu item and that the menu needed updating. I ordered the mussels and fries while my friend had the mushroom & truffle spaghetti. The spaghetti meal was very good, delicious flavours. Disappointed in the mussels...gritty tasting, small and stringy. Fries were nothing out of the ordinary. Waiter comped my meal 20%.

Quite traditional style restaurant.
The ambiance relaxing, the very efficient and attentive woman who served us, so professional. Wish most restaurants learn from her. I really long for this kind of service nowadays.
