We walked down Macpherson Avenue a few feet from Avenue road to find the Macpherson Avenue Parkette. A little surprised that this is called a parkette it looks more like a median, with heavy brush growing separating the street from the railway tracks. Don't expect to do much in this park except perhaps lock up your bicycle and have a seat in the shade. We weren't really impressed, but we loved the fact that they keep green spaces in the city and it wasn't another parking lot. - A Richard Trus review
