Always love coming here to chill. Not many places you can do that in Toronto. Great during the day, obviously crazy during weekends and hot weather.

When you can't make it to the Toronto Islands or they are closed (flooding of 2017) this is a quick "go to".
Grab the bike, take your car or hop on the TTC. There are life guards on duty at the main beach as well as bathroom facilities, along with a food truck vendor. Large beach areas to lounge on. At the far west side there is a big fenced off leash free area right on the water to bring 'Fido'. Towards the east end are a few more beach areas mixed with trees, not as many people as the main area. To the far East end there is some boat group that takes over the beach area, not really blocked off but generally known not to go there unless you are part of the club.
Just before the boat club area there is a small stretch of beach which is nice, but gets ruined towards the end of the day as some novice DJ sets up.

Such a cozy place in downtown TO. Gets very busy in the weekend but very relaxing during the week. There are people doing swimming, kayaking, suping and even kite surfing. Parking is free but a bit limited. Has a BBQ area as well as a dog unleash area. Good for family visits and friends partying.

Beautiful beach with plenty of free parking minutes from the downtown core. Also includes a scenic recreational trail for the avid cyclist. Electronic Dance and House Music Festival every Sunday afternoon during summer months.
