Steak was excellent, atmosphere was a bit stark and they charge $3.50 for sauce. Nice staff, very friendly. I would say a touch on the pricey side but I'm beginning to learn Launceston is like that in general so it's no worse than anywhere else on the island.

Friendly and well mannered staff. Good steak, stunning great chips (seriously great), complimentary salad bar come with any main order. Doesn't break your wallet.

Loved the steak which we both had with the mushroom sauce, steak was cooked perfectly & sauce was yummy, the salt and pepper squid for entree were also yum! Fantastic service!

If I could give another star I would have. First off I hate to say it but I'm a really picky eater and second I'm not a fan of reviewing a restaurant after one visit as I could of just gotten lucky with my choice of meal or day that I decided to dine but clear fact is I dined with my wife and 4 kids of which we all tried each other's meals and couldn't pick a fault!
I'm big on sauces and I tried 5 different ones and they absolutely satisfied. Every element was cooked to perfection, vegetables were all cooked equally and heated to match the protein on the plate. I wanted to take the family out for a treat as it's hard these days to afford it and I can say that a) the meals are priced appropriately (not too expensive) and b) this is absolutely a great family restaurant.
To top everything off the service was brilliant, warm and friendly. This was definitely a highlight of our school holidays and would easily say one of the best meals I have eaten since moving to tassie 3 years ago...
