Wide variety of books, I bought many there, highly recommended. On weekends there are many people, but the prices are very good. Good place to walk and buy antiques.

We really enjoyed our time walking through this market which has a large variety of local products to shop around, which we did. Great hancrafted Argentinean products. Does get pretty crowded, which is the only negative, but good overall. Make sure you take plenty of pesos should you have the urge to buy things.

It is a flea market/fair that takes place on Sundays (11am to 5pm), located around Plaza Dorrego. In addition to the antiques stands, which are literally around the Plaza and gave birth to the fair, walking along Defensa Street you can find several stalls, shops and artists selling handicrafts, decorations, clothes, music, etc. There are also several options for eating and drinking, whether on the street or in restaurants (affordable!).
Worth the ride and without doubt is a great way to start Sunday in Argentina's capital city.
