Will NEVER send anyone I care about there. Sister went for depression, came out worse than went in, I honestly think she's crazy now!!! Aunt sent there for refusing to eat in nursing home, when we visited, never saw any staff, people were screaming and crying everywhere. Aunt became a zombie. Took her out and she died two weeks later. HORRIBLE PLACE

I'm not kaleb, that is my husband, but this is his acct. i LOVED my stay at red river. there was a lot of chaos, but that's expected. the staff actually cared about me, and the other patients. One particular woman stood out and that was Miss Jackie. She works on the adult floor. she gave her testimony and it helped so much. she did everything she could to provide each patient with what they needed. Jennifer, also who worked on the adult floor on weekends, who administered the drugs to patients helped me a lot.. i appreciate every single staff member even the cooks, the maintenance, and the house keepers. Thank you red river for turning my life around!

Awful!! Techs Jackie and Mary completely unprofessional and treated the most vulnerable clients as unimportant! Would go into detail, but would just take too long to tell it all! They single people out and deliberately or ignorantly agitate them! Reminded me of when I was nursing at Allred prison and the way many staffers treated the inmates. Will never recommend this facility for care!!!

I am a 67 year old male and have been in patient 2 times over the past 6-8 years. I can honestly say that it was a very awesome experience for the most part. I am physically handicapped and due to my physical disabilities , must day that I would without any reservations it was well worth every day I was there. Dealing with the ageing process I left free from the extreme depression I had been experiencing

Dr. Anderson does not care about his patients. He just cares about money. I was sent through Helen farabee and they cover 10 days and they basically just tried to get as much money as they could out of me even when I didn't need to be there. Geneva is as fake as can be. They kept trying to get me on medication when I didn't need it. They had a patient that was very ill hearing voices and such and would walk into women's rooms they did nothing to contain him. I did appreciate Cesar groups sessions. He came prepared or at least felt that way and they were very informative and I believe he helped a lot of people. There were good and bad staff members but I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe your experience will be different but just wanted to give my opinion.
They picked me up from the er an hour away and on my discharge date basically just tossed me to the side and I ended up having to walk 20 minutes to subway to get something to eat and wait for my ride.
