Don't waste your money. I bought 4 tickets for the red line and didn't get to use it. We waited almost an hour at the Lincoln memorial for a red bus but it never came. 3 blue line and 2 yellow line showed up but no red. We used Uber for the rest of the day and will be demanding a refund.

It was nice to see all of the monuments at night as our guide was very informative. It would be nice if the top was covered though as it gets extremely cold and branches hit our heads at times. It was worth the price with the explorer pass but I wouldn’t buy it on the regular rate.

Very good view from the top of the bus and not so much from the bottom level. Maria was a very good tour guide she knew so much and talked non stop didn't leave me with any questions! ☺️ the night tour is very amazing just make sure you get there at 7 if you want the top level

This 5 star review is based completely on the tour guide we had for a night tour yesterday, Cassie. She was amazing at her job! Well-educated, articulate, friendly, funny, you name it! Everything you could hope for in a tour guide. The tour was prompt, organized, and comfortable.
The next day we went on a day tour on the red route and had the complete opposite experience. The tour guide seemed to be half asleep while speaking, slurred speech, and at one pointed tilted his head back to sleep DURING the tour. My family and I were amazed at the complete lack of professionalism. If it weren't for Cassie, we would have labeled this tour a waste of time/money. On the whole, most of the staff we encountered during our trip seemed to be very unprofessional.
Thank you for making our trip to D.C. worth it, Cassie! That night tour was the highlight of our entire trip!

Big bus tours was a great experience for me and my husband, we enjoyed everything about it from the sites to the staff.. buses come when they are supposed to with the exception of the traffic but that was understandable. I would've rated this at 5 stars but out of the 4 buses we took 3 of them where awesome. The night time tour was the best.. the tour guide was GREAT!! But unfortunately 1 out of the four buses was awful.. one of the staff members chose to talk loudly about her personal life as well as customers she had encountered.. not good things, Very vulgar language F this F that.. and there were no regards for the children that where on the bus. Not to mention there was no tour guide talking during the ride. Luckily we bought the two day deluxe pass and rode the whole tour the day before so we knew what and where everything was. Other then the one bad ride this tour was great I would definitely recommend it over the others. It had multiple routes and a night time tour. The two day deluxe pass is the best bang for your buck. Hope this review helps!!
