From the front porch you can see Beautiful Eagle Creek and the gorgeous campus of my Georgia Southern University. For years Gnat's has been a go-to spot for so many GSU students. Today, GSU had an away game. When asked to put the game on, the staff refused because they were playing the UGA (what..?) game. I'm extremely disappointed in this establishment and hope next time the staff will remember where they are from. Loyalty is important y'all. Hail Southern and NO PLACE else.

Wide variety of food, consistently good. Happy hour 5-7PM daily and all day Sunday. Great college-aged servers and managers who will make it right. Nice mix of locals and college students.

Excellent food and great variety of IPA and craft beers. Bartender was very friendly and helped me choose the perfect IPA that I hadn't ever tried yet. Our server for dinner was excellent. Friendly and very attentive, as were all staff we encountered. We ordered buffalo shrimp and spinach dip for appetizers: shrimp & grits and Salmon entrees. All were above average. The shrimp and grits plate was perfection. The atmosphere was very loud (we expected the noise considering the location within walking distance to GSU) and festive: we dined at the end of happy hour on a Saturday. While the majority of patrons were college-aged, there were also plenty of more seasoned adults. There's a large deck with tables for dining and drinking with friends that looked very inviting which we'd love to sit at another time-it was ~100f the night we dined. We will also dine later in the evening next time...around 8ish which is when it seemed to quiet down just bit. Overall a great experience.

I came mainly to share my love for their fries and ranch dressing, and their happy hour. The bartenders/baristas there are excellent, and they mix their drinks just right. The prices are good for college students, and their fries dipped in ranch dressing are kind of like heaven. Great spot to hang out with classmates, and I've heard their trivia night's pretty fun, too.
